Aldercastle, London
92,600 sq ft Grade A office building in the City of London, Aldercastle was acquired by Argent in 1997 for £9 million. A key point to the success of this project was being able to negotiate a new entrance to the building and bringing the building into the steel cordon of the city core.
Let to multiple occupants including Ernst and Young, the property was sold to Henderson's in 2001 for £59 million. Argent's profit on costs for this project was 55 per cent.
This project was led by Stephen Tillman whilst at Argent.
