The site is prominently positioned between the town’s two retail pitches with The Pantiles to the south and Royal Victoria Square Shopping Centre to the north. The site has remained derelict since the closure of the ABC Cinema in 2001 and due to its prominent position is seen as a strategically important site that will bring the town’s retail centres together. Working alongside Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and local residents, a major mixed use development is proposed that will provide the catalyst for further regeneration.

A planning application for this exciting mixed use development on the site of the former ABC Cinema was granted permission in January 2018 and sold to Elysian in February 2019.
